A Model of Application of Blockchain Technology to Increase Safety in Railway Traffic
Zoran G. PAVLOVIĆ
The development of railway traffic also implies the application of advanced computer technologies. Since high-speed trains run on certain routes (Belgrade Center – Novi Sad and back), the management and regulation of such trains are made possible by computers and networks. Humans mainly supervise based on predetermined computer applications and programs. Currently, the railway infrastructure to Subotica is being modernized, the next step includes to Nis, where the prerequisites and the need to improve the safety of road users are being created. This paper analyzes potential attacks and the measures the railway company must take. Blockchain technology is a solution to a potential problem. The paper presents the potential of blockchain, the way of application as well as functioning in order to increase security.

Many paths lead to the rapid development of telecommunications. One aspect of this development is using artificial intelligence (AI). By using several technologies, such as license plate recognition (LPR), automatic license plate recognition (ANPR) technology, highly efficient optical character recognition (OCR) tesseract, and mask OCR algorithms, a modern parking lot can be created without congestion, and the space for the car is provided in advance to the user’s satisfaction. In this article, we describe the application of artificial intelligence included in the mentioned technologies. Intelligent safety solutions enable a more advanced and safer world. AI algorithms give the system a predictive capability to prevent undesirable situations. The basic idea of this work is to reduce the nervousness of the driver, to avoid uncertainties regarding the parking lot, and to find a good technical solution that includes the use of artificial intelligence.

The emergence of autonomous vehicles is one of the most significant innovations in the transportation industry. Autonomous vehicles aim to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of traffic through the use of specific sensors. These sensors, categorized into environmental perception, vehicle motion tracking, and navigation, are key components of these vehicles. This paper focuses on the implementation of the ADAS algorithm, which contributes to increasing traffic safety. Specifically, the research explores the application of cameras as sensors for environmental perception, used to warn the driver when they leave their lane. This technological application has the potential to improve traffic safety and represents a step towards a more efficient and secure transportation system.
