EIM’S MESSAGE: Implementation of ISO Standards for Artificial Intelligence
Stevan STANKOVSKI
Applying international ISO standards to artificial intelligence provides a solid foundation for the safe, reliable, and ethically responsible use of AI tools across all applications. ISO/IEC 42001 (the AI management standard) describes how formalised frameworks can help to mitigate technological, security and ethical risks associated with the introduction and use of AI-based systems. Particular focus is given to analysing the requirements set out in the standard with regard to algorithm transparency, data protection, accountability for automated decision-making, and the continuous performance monitoring of AI-based systems.
AI and IoT in Quality Control: Applications Across Industrial Sectors
Gordana OSTOJIĆ, Stevan STANKOVSKI
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, and robotics has transformed quality monitoring in modern manufacturing. However, the selection of technologies varies considerably across industrial sectors due to differences in production processes, quality requirements, and regulatory standards. This paper provides a comparative overview of AI tools, IoT sensors, and automated quality control systems used in key industrial sectors, including automotive, food, pharmaceutical, electronics, and metal processing industries. The analysis highlights sector-specific applications of computer vision, predictive analytics, smart sensors, and robotic inspection systems, as well as the emerging role of generative AI in data interpretation and quality reporting.
Development of a Human Cranial Implant

Design and manufacture of personalized implants in reconstructive surgery largely depends on successful application of engineering tools that enable conception, design, verification and production of products in individual production. At the same time, in the basic goals production of such products fall within the minimum time development and production, accuracy and fulfillment of a large number of medical, aesthetic and technological requirements.
